• are covered entirely by the stockings
• are made of rubber, plastic or a similar suitable material
• provide a reasonable degree of protection
Colours
• The two teams must wear colours that distinguish them from each other and also the referee and the assistant referees
• Each goalkeeper must wear colours that distinguish him from the other players, the referee and the assistant referees
Quelle donne iraniane erano perfettamente equipaggiate a norma di regolamento. I calzoni lunghi? Erano dello stesso colore degli “shorts”, e nei campionati più freddi si usano regolarmente senza che nessuno dica niente. La testa coperta? I giocatori che, sempre per il freddo, giocano con berretti o fasce si sprecano; inoltre, a causa di infortuni, le fasciature sono regolamente ammesse in tutte le parti del corpo, testa e occhi (uno, ovviamente) compresi.
Io ne deduco che questa squadra è stata discriminata perché composta di donne iraniane.
Propongo di inviare una lettera in inglese alle mail FIFA raggiungibili.
Utilizzando questa form [ http://www.fifa.com/contact/form.html ] indicando come “Subject” ‘Sexist and racial discrimination in FIFA event‘ ho spedito il seguente messaggio:
Dear FIFA,
I am a football lover, and I am angry for what happened during the recent female football match Jordan-Iran, valid for the Olympic qualification (London 2012).
As these photos ( http://www.repubblica.it/sport/2011/06/06/foto/iran_nazionale_donne-17275636/1/ ) clearly show, the football players wore a standard-issue equipment, as Law 4 of football regulation states:

As You can see, according to the above Law, the footballers’ equipment was thoroughly regular. Many other teams, in fact, already wore it, as Juventus team football players did during a recent trip in Poland for an “Europe League” match ( http://www.canalejuve.it/news/le-pagelle-di-lech-poznan-juventus-4839 ).
Why, in that case – and it is just on example in a thousand – everything was considered regular?
As a consequence, the female Iranian football team was subjected to a sexist and racial discrimination, an unforgivable act by an international sport federation, with the aggravating circumstance of the Olympic qualification at stake between two teams.
A great example of Olympic spirit by FIFA and its delegates!
As a sportsman and football lover, I would be pleased if FIFA officially deplores the conduct of its delegates, and if they are removed from football fields.

Ecco come favorire l’esclusione sociale delle donne musulmane, anzichè contrastarla. Proprio antisessisti questi occidentali (sono ironica!)
Non mi dispiace no! E che dolore vedere la ventina di amici con i quali condivido da anni interminabili discussioni calcistiche e appuntamenti settimanali al campo che non hanno spedito questa email.
Ma prima o poi la facciamo la squadra dei “disertori”. Oh, se la facciamo.
a me pare che si inserisca perfettamente nella campagna che gruppi di potere in europa e usa stanno portando avanti contro il feticcio del “velo islamico” (un termine assai vago che comprende in sè numerosi tipi di indumenti). ci sono questi profeti e profetesse della libertà che lanciano anatemi e incitano alla guerra santa contro il “velo”. per l’italia mi viene subito in mente la santanchè. a questi personaggi non interessano minimamente i diritti delle donne (di cui si autoproclamano protettori) a costoro interessa unicamente far campagna elettorale in favore dell’odio verso il migrante e in favore della presente e prossima guerra contro il paese islamico di turno. le donne sono ancora una volta usate come strumento politico: dai governi dei paesi che obbligano all’uso del “velo” e da quelli che lo proibiscono (a.e. la francia: poichè proibire equivale ad imporre), dalla fifa che punisce queste donne per scopi politici, al governo iraniano che ora giustamente protesterà in difesa della libertà di indossare il “velo” e si atteggerà a vittima di persecuzioni internazionali.
Perfettamente d’accordo. E’ la stessa cosa che ho pensato anch’io quando ho letto la notizia. Non ci vedevo niente di non regolamentare in quella divisa. Le uniche cose che vengono vietate sono quelle che possono recare danno, cioè cose rigide, anelli, ecc… Ti dispiace se invio alla Fifa un messaggio uguale al tuo?
